INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION BETWEEN CHIRCHIK PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY, UZBEKISTAN AND UPI CIBIRU CAMPUS

UPI Cibiru - On Thursday, November 28, 2024, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Cibiru Campus received an official visit from the Chirchik Pedagogical University Delegation, Uzbekistan, consisting of around 10 delegates. This visit is part of an effort to strengthen international relations and establish cooperation in the field of education. During the event, the delegation was warmly welcomed by the leaders and Heads of Study Programs at the UPI Campus in Cibiru, which showed UPI Cibiru's seriousness in establishing global collaboration to improve the quality of education at the international level. The purpose of this visit was to introduce the academic potential and facilities owned by UPI Cibiru Campus to Chirchik Pedagogical University, as well as to open up opportunities for cooperation in various fields, especially in student exchange programs, joint research, and curriculum development that is more oriented towards global needs. Through this collaboration, both parties are expected to be able to exchange knowledge and experience in the world of education, enrich academic insights, and support the improvement of the quality of graduates who have international competitiveness. Furthermore, in 2025, students will be sent to Uzbekistan, and Uzbekistan will also send students to UPI Cibiru, while lecturers from UPI Cibiru will teach in Uzbekistan, and vice versa, Uzbek lecturers will teach at UPI Cibiru Campus.

The purpose of this collaboration is to build a mutually beneficial relationship in the long term, with various collaborative programs that can expand the scope of education in both countries. It is hoped that this collaboration can strengthen friendship between Indonesia and Uzbekistan, and provide a positive impact on the development of higher education at the UPI Campus in Cibiru, through increasing the reputation and opportunities for students and lecturers to develop at the international level.

On that occasion, the Director of UPI Cibiru Campus had time to hand over souvenirs in the form of books of his research products along with the lecturers, namely a book on Artificial Intelligence in the Perspective of Bio-communication and the book Dynamic of VCDLN. For the needs of teaching materials, a book on research methodology entitled "Qualitative Research Dynamics" was also handed over. Two books are in Indonesian and will be translated by the delegation from Chirchik Pedagogical University.
